A Rose Is A Rose Is A Rose Is A ....Rose?

June 5 Etsybloggers Blog Carnival subject: 1) Schools Out For Summer! What are your summer plans or share your favorite end of the school year story.
2) June symbols - June's birthstone is the pearl or moonstone. June's flower is the rose. Share your favorites or stories or blog on June symbols of your own.

I choose ROSES. Wait. No. A picture paints a thousand words (I've heard) so to save space and time, here is a picture of my rose bush, which was thriving when I moved in here.

'Nuff said.

  1. This rose bush looks quite healthy to me. Mine is full of black spot and I've been battling all summer trying to get rid of it. But with all the rainy weather we've had, it's a losing battle. The leaves on your bush look so healthy. No roses yet? Maybe it just needs some pruning. Or some fertilizer. I've been trying something new called Messenger. Supposed to be purely organic and helps the plant kick in its own immune system to become stronger.

  2. Look closer, that IS a rose, and as good as it gets.

  3. Well at least it is good and green.....I can't even do that----things die within a year! Teri

  4. love rose bushes. My DH just transplanted one of ours... didn't think it was going to make it... but it did! They're survivors!
